Cajun Shrimp And Linguine
- 1 lb. shrimp pieces
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. basil
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 c. onions
- 1 c. green pepper
- 1 c. mushrooms
- 1 Tbsp. chopped garlic
- 1 c. cooking wine
- 16 oz. tomato sauce
- 4 Tbsp. Romano cheese
- 2 c. cream
- 1 lb. box linguine
- Saute 1 pound of shrimp pieces in virgin olive oil.
- Add oregano, basil and thyme.
- In separate pan, fry in olive oil finely chopped onions, green pepper, mushrooms and garlic.
- Add cooking wine, tomato sauce and Romano cheese.
- Bring to a boil and add 2 cups of cream.
- Then add cooked shrimp to mixture.
- Cook linguine; cool with water while straining.
- Then add ingredients. Add creole seasoning to taste.
