Lasagna
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 3/4 lb. ground lean pork
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 2 lb. canned tomatoes
- 2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. parsley flakes
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. basil leaves
- 6 c. (4 to 12 oz.) cottage cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 2 tsp. oregano flakes
- 2 (8 oz.) cooked lasagna noodles
- 1 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- Brown ground beef, pork, onions and garlic.
- Then add tomatoes, tomato sauce, parsley flakes, sugar, salt and basil leaves.
- Simmer 1 hour.
