Cocktail Meat Balls
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. corn flake crumbs
- 1/3 c. dried parsley flakes
- 2 eggs
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/3 c. catsup
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 (1 lb.) can jellied cranberry sauce
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. bottled lemon juice
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- In large bowl, combine first 9 ingredients and blend well.
- Form mixture into small balls, size of walnuts. Arrange balls in baking pan.
- In medium saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, chili sauce, brown sugar and lemon juice.
- Cook over moderate heat (250u0b0), stirring occasionally until mixture is smooth.
- Save less than 1/2 of mixture to dip balls into for serving and pour the rest over meat balls.
- Bake 30 minutes. Serve in a chafing dish with toothpicks.
- Makes about 60 balls.
