Softbatch Cream Cheese Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chunks
- Cream butter, cream cheese, sugars, egg, and vanilla for at least 7 mins, if using a hand-held mixer.
- Add the flour, cornstarch, baking soda, salt, and mix until just combined, approx 1 minute.
- Stir in chocolate chips and chunks.
- Using a cookie scoop, form mounds, then flatten with your palm, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or up to 5 days.
- Preheat oven to 350. Bake 8-9 minutes.
