Crispy Oat Cookies

  1. Cream the butter; gradually add sugars, beating well at medium speed.
  2. Add egg and beat well.
  3. Add oil and vanilla, mixing well. Combine flour, soda and salt.
  4. Add to mixture and mix well.
  5. Stir in oats and remaining ingredients.
  6. Shape dough into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, flattening each ball with the tines of a fork.
  7. Bake at 325u0b0 for 15 minutes.
  8. Cool slightly. Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks.
  9. Yields 10 dozen.
