Chism Special
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1 Tbsp. oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 minced garlic clove
- 1 small bell pepper, chopped
- 1 can tomato soup
- 3/4 c. catsup
- 3 Tbsp. chili powder
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 small can corn with peppers (Mexi Corn)
- 1 small can sliced black olives
- salt and pepper to taste
- grated cheddar cheese
- cooked pasta
- Heat oil in a heavy dutch oven; brown meat with onion, garlic and bell pepper until meat is well done.
- Add soup, catsup, chili powder and Worcestershire sauce.
- Stir in corn and olives.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Cover and simmer on low for 1 hour.
- Add water as needed to keep sauce liquid or to desired level of thickness.
- Served over cooked pasta; sprinkle with cheese.
- Makes 6 servings.
