White Fruit Cake

  1. Mix flour, nuts, and fruit with 1/2 of the flour.
  2. Add baking powder to the other 1/2 of the flour.
  3. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg whites, beaten until stiff.
  4. Add vanilla flavoring.
  5. In another bowl combine other ingredients and mix well.
  6. Combine with butter/sugar mixture.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Pour into greased and floured tube pan and bake in slow oven on 250u0b0 for about 2 hours.
  9. This usually makes 2 good size cakes.
