Baked Spiced Fruit

  1. Drain fruit, reserving syrup for other uses.
  2. Cut apricot, peach and pear halves in half.
  3. Combine fruit in a 12 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  4. Combine orange juice and remaining ingredients in a saucepan.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat and simmer 2 minutes. Pour over fruit.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes.
  8. Cool. Cover and chill for 8 hours.
  9. Remove cinnamon stick and whole cloves before serving.
  10. May be served hot or cold.
