Spiced Holiday Nuts

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. In a bowl mix all spices together. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil in a nonstick skillet over low heat.
  4. Add spices and stir well.
  5. Simmer 3-4 minutes to mellow flavors. Place nuts in a bowl.
  6. Scrape mixture onto nuts and toss well. Spread nuts in one layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, shaking pan once or twice.
  8. Remove from oven.
  9. With a rubber spatula, toss nuts with any spices and oil on the bottom of the pan.
  10. If desired, sprinkle with a bit more garlic salt.
  11. Let rest for 2 hours in a cool place.
  12. Store in air tight jars.
