Salsa
- 4 (6 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- garlic to taste
- 1 jalapeno pepper
- 2 Cerrano peppers
- cilantro to taste
- 8 Roman tomatoes, diced
- 1 large onion or more to taste, diced
- stew beef (1 lb.)
- fresh sliced mushrooms (3 c.)
- some barley (1 c.)
- whole diced onion
- couple cups water (4 c.?)
- salt, pepper and parsley
- cream of mushroom soup
- red wine (2 c.)
- sour cream (1 c.)
- Throw everything in a crock-pot in the morning, except wine and sour cream.
- Cook all day on high.
- When you come home from the barn at night, dump in the last 2 items and stir.
- Take a nice, hot bath and drink the rest of the wine.
- About an hour later, serve with fresh rolls and a salad.
- Your family will think you've been cooking all day.
- Now get them to wash the dishes.
