Chicken Calzones

  1. Place chicken in a greased 1 quart baking dish:
  2. cover with water.
  3. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes or until juices run clear.
  4. Or cook on a Foreman Grill.
  5. Saute mushrooms and onion in butter until tender.
  6. Combine cornstarch and milk until smooth; stir into skillet.
  7. Add seasonings.
  8. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened.
  9. Drain chicken if necessary.
  10. Cut pastry sheets in half widthwise.
  11. On one side of each half, place a chicken breast, 1/4 c. mushroom mixture, two ham slices and one cheese slice.
  12. Fold pastry over filling and seal edges.
  13. Place on a greased baking sheet.
  14. Brush tops with milk if desired.
  15. Bake at 400u0b0 for 15 to 20 minutes or until puffed and golden.
  16. Serves 4.
