Hacienda Beef Bake
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 13-16 oz. Frozen or Canned Corn
- 1/2 Medium Green Bell Pepper (Diced)
- 8 oz. BBQ Sauce
- Small Can French Fried Onion Rings
- Small Jar Cheese Whiz
- 1/4 tsp. Chili Powder
- 1 Tbsp Margarine
- 1. Saute diced peppers in margarine till tender, set aside
- 2. Brown ground beef, drain, add peppers and stir. In
- large bowl combine meat, corn, BBQ sauce, chili powder,
- 1/2 can of French fried onion rings.
- 3. Spread 1/2 the mixture into a casserole dish; spoon 1/2
- the cheesewhiz in even dollups over the mixture. Spread
- the remaining mixture into the casserole dish; spoon
- remaining chhese whiz over the top.
- 4. Bake for 20-30 minutes till hot. Remove, sprinkle the
- remaining French fried onion rings over the top. Bake
- for 5 more minutes till onion rings turn crispy brown.
