Texas Hot Sauce And Dogs

  1. Make the sauce: in a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; add in onion; stir/saute onion until soft but not brown.
  2. Add in ground beef and spices; mix well; add enough water to just cover mixture.
  3. Simmer mixture over low heat, stirring occasionally until meat is cooked and sauce is thickened, about 30 minutes.
  4. To serve-place hot dogs in buns and top with Texas Hot Sauce, mustard, and onion; serve immediately.
