Pork Chop Onion Rice Bake

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Brown chops in fat.
  3. Spread rice in bottom of rectangular baking dish.
  4. Reserve 1 tablespoon of onion soup mixture and sprinkle the rest over rice.
  5. Drain mushrooms and save liquid.
  6. Sprinkle mushrooms and pimiento over rice.
  7. Add hot water to mushroom liquid to total 3 cups and pour over rice. Arrange chops on top of rice and sprinkle rest of onion soup over them.
  8. Cover tightly with foil and bake in 350u0b0 oven until tender, 45 minutes to 1 hour.
  9. Remove foil and continue cooking 10 minutes longer or until liquid evaporates.
