Taco Beef Noodle Bake Casserole
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium noodles, cooked and drained well
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 (1 1/4 oz.) pkg. taco seasoning mix
- 1 lb. cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. sour cream
- 1 c. Mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped green onion
- 2 tsp. beef instant bouillon
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- In large skillet, brown beef and onion; stir in sauce, water and seasoning mix.
- Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, sour cream, flour, Mozzarella cheese and bouillon cube; mix well.
- Add noodles, green onions and green pepper.
- Blend well.
- Spoon mixture into well-greased 2-quart dish.
- Top with meat mixture.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with shredded cheese and bake 2 minutes longer.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
