Macadamia Nut Cookies

  1. Beat butter and shortening at medium speed with electric mixer until soft and creamy; gradually add sugars. Beat well. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Combine flour, soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating well. Stir in white chocolate chips and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls 2-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool. Yields 5 dozen.
