Chocolate Delight
- 1 stick oleo, melted
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. Cool Whip
- 1 (3 oz.) box instant chocolate pudding
- 1 (3 oz.) box instant vanilla pudding
- 3 c. milk
- 2 1/2 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. water
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 2 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 c. chopped walnuts
- 8 to 10 maraschino cherries, cut into small pieces
- Combine sugar, water and corn syrup in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Continue to cook without stirring, until candy thermometer reaches 260u0b0 or until a little dropped into very cold water forms a hard ball.
