Homemade Chicken Noodle (A Lot Like Chunky'S Chicken Noodle)
- 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 4 -5 chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 large onion
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- 1 (12 ounce) bag egg noodles
- 1 tablespoon garlic salt (Or Powder)
- 1 (15 ounce) can Veg-All
- salt and pepper
- cornstarch (If you like a thicker soup)
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- water
- 1) Fill a large pot 2/3 full of water; Add chicken and boil until done.
- 2) Remove chicken; Set aside. Add chicken boullion cubes to water (Use your best judgment as to what tastes right to you)
- 3) Add Onions, seasonings, egg noodles, vegetable oil, veg-all; Let simmer until egg noodles are almost done.
- 4) If you like a thicker soup, add a little cornstarch to cold water, then gradually add until you have the consistency you like. You may want to adjust seasonings to your liking.
- 5) Cut up chicken and add to the soup. Let simmer for 15- 20 minutes.
