Chocolate Quad

  1. Cut butter into flour with a pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  2. Stir in pecans.
  3. Press mixture onto bottom of a 13x9 inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350u0b0F for 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
  5. Cool.
  6. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup whipped topping at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  7. Spread mixture over prepared crust.
  8. Whisk together pudding mix and milk for 2 minutes or until smooth.
  9. Spread over cream cheese mixture.
  10. Chill 10 minutes.
  11. Spread remaining whipped topping over pudding mixture.
  12. Cover and chill at least 1 hour. Cut into squares.
  13. Makes 12 to 15 servings.
