Beef Roll-Ups

  1. Cut round steak into 4 rectangles.
  2. Pound to 1/4-inch thickness with the edge of a saucer or meat mallet.
  3. May use cubed steak.
  4. Place bacon on paper towels.
  5. Cover with paper towel. Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes or until partially cooked. Place 3 bacon halves and 1 tablespoon onion on each piece of round steak.
  6. Roll pieces and secure with wooden picks.
  7. Dredge rolls in 2 tablespoons flour, then place in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with any flour remaining from dredging.
