A Man'S Casserole

  1. Cook noodles according to package directions; drain and rinse in cold water.
  2. In large skillet, saute onion in margarine over medium flame; set aside.
  3. Brown meat in same skillet in oil over medium-high flame; drain.
  4. Add salt, pepper, thyme and sauteed onion to meat.
  5. Combine soup and milk.
  6. Arrange one-third of noodles, half of meat-onion mixture and half of soup mixture in layers in a greased 4-quart casserole.
  7. Repeat layers.
  8. Arrange remaining noodles on top.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese.
  10. Bake in 350u0b0 gas oven for 1 hour or until lightly browned.
  11. Yield:
  12. 8 large servings.
