Fruit Bars

  1. Place water in a saucepan.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over water. Allow gelatin to soften for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir over low heat to dissolve gelatin.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Place mixture into a blender, 1/3 at a time.
  5. Blend until mixture has a coarse texture, but contains not large chunks.
  6. Add blended ingredients to gelatin in saucepan; stir well.
  7. Line bottom and sides of an 8-inch square pan with wax paper.
  8. Spray wax paper with a nonstick spray.
  9. Spread mixture in pan.
  10. Cool completely in refrigerator until firm, about 2 to 3 hours.
  11. Cut into 24 bars. Store bars between layers of wax paper.
  12. Yields 24 bars.
