Italian Casserole For A Crowd
- 1 (16 ounce) package noodles
- 1 1/2 lbs bulk Italian sausage
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 2 (15 ounce) cans tomato sauce
- 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (15 ounce) can corn, drained
- 1 (6 ounce) can sliced ripe olives, drained
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded cheddar cheese
- Cook noodles according to package directions; set aside.
- Cook sausage, ground beef, onion and green pepper until meat is done and vegetables are tender; drain fat.
- Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, and seasonings; simmer for 15 minutes.
- Stir in corn, olives, and noodles; mix well.
- Divide into 2 oiled 9x13 baking dishes and top with cheese.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 350u0b0F.
