Mock Ravioli
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic
- 3 tsp. salad oil
- 2 lb. ground beef
- salt and pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
- 1 can Las Palmas
- 1 can tomato paste
- 2 1/4 c. tomato juice
- 1 1/2 c. finely chopped cooked spinach
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley
- 1 c. fine soft bread crumbs
- 1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp. sage
- 1 tsp. salt
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 1 1/2 lb. butterfly or shell macaroni, cooked in salt water until tender
- Mix all
- ingredients, except macaroni, together.
- Place layers of macaroni
- in greased baking dish.
- Top with layer of spinach mixture; repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with meat layer.
- Bake

- for 30 to 40 minutes. Serves 10 to 12.
