Vegetable Sandwiches 1

  1. Combine cabbage, bell pepper, cucumber, carrots and onion, blending well.
  2. In a saucepan, soften gelatin in water.
  3. Add vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, pepper and paprika. Cook over medium heat until gelatin dissolves, stirring constantly.
  4. Blend into vegetables.
  5. Refrigerate to let flavors meld at least 1 day, preferably 2.
  6. Add mayonnaise just before serving.
  7. Makes about 10 sandwiches or 30 finger sandwiches.
