Okra Casserole

  1. Saute okra in bacon drippings over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes,

  3. enough to get it all good and hot.
  4. Turn out into a
  5. 2
  6. quart greased casserole.
  7. Saute onion, bell pepper and celery
  8. until
  9. crisp-tender.
  10. Layer vegetables over okra. Put water
  11. chestnuts
  12. in
  13. casserole
  14. with olives and mix with other vegetables.
  15. Arrange
  16. tomatoes
  17. over
  18. the
  19. top.
  20. Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
  21. Makes 8 servings.
