Chicken Cheese Swirls

  1. Cook green peppers and onions in shortening until tender.
  2. Add 1/4 cup Bisquick, soup and milk.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
  4. Boil and stir 1 minute.
  5. Add chicken and peas.
  6. Pour into 7 x 12-inch baking dish.
  7. Mix 2 cups Bisquick and water until dough forms.
  8. Knead and roll into 15 x 9-inch rectangle.
  9. Sprinkle with cheese and roll up tightly.
  10. Cut into 12 (1 1/4-inch) slices and arrange on top of chicken mixture.
  11. Bake at 425u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
  12. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
