Green Salad Unique With Poppy Seed Dressing
- 1 lb. assorted lettuces
- 1 lb. fresh spinach
- 2 medium avocados, sliced
- 2 c. strawberries, halved
- 1 cantaloupe, cut in balls
- 2 c. cherry tomatoes, halved
- 2 cucumbers, sliced
- 8 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 c. vegetable oil
- 1/2 c. tarragon vinegar
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. poppy seeds
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1 tsp. grated onion
- 3/4 tsp. onion salt
- Tear lettuce and spinach into bite-size pieces.
- Add remaining salad ingredients.
- For dressing, combine all ingredients in covered jar and shake well.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- Just before serving, toss salad with dressing.
- Makes 20 servings.
