Frozen Pineapple Delight

  1. Combine crumbs and melted butter.
  2. Put aside 1/2 cup of buttered crumbs for the top.
  3. Put the rest in 9 x 12-inch pan and press down smoothly.
  4. Cream remaining butter; gradually add icing sugar.
  5. Cream thoroughly.
  6. Add egg until smooth.
  7. Add vanilla flavor, if desired, and spread mixture over crumbs in the pan. Whip cream until stiff.
  8. Combine with tin of pineapple, well drained.
  9. Spread over mixture in pan.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining buttered crumbs over the top and decorate.
  11. Place in freezer and keep it there until needed.
  12. It can be kept for 1 month.
  13. Set out 1 to 2 hours before serving.
