1 Quart Yummy Pickles

  1. start with 1 jar at a time
  2. pack in jars whole cucumbers
  3. add 1 cup vinegar
  4. 1 tablespoon salt
  5. 2/3 teaspoon whole pickling spice
  6. 1/2 teaspoon powdered alum
  7. 1/2 teaspoon horseradih
  8. fill with cold water and seal
  9. DONT use until afteer 3 months
  10. then 24 hours before using
  11. drain and rinse in cold water
  12. slice pickles long ways
  13. in tupperware container.
  14. add 1 cup sugar to quart jar used
  15. and shake well.
  16. makes own juice
  17. and is now ready to eat.
  18. everything is cold DO NOT heat anything.
  19. i shake these in tupperware container alot of times to get sugar dissolved
  20. this is exactly as recipe is written.
