Mincemeat

  1. Have mixture of first 4 ingredients come to a boil, then let simmer 1 hour.
  2. To this mixture, add the remainder of ingredients.
  3. Have mixture come to a boil and boil 10 minutes. Pack in clean jars.
  4. Screw on bands tight.
  5. Process in water bath for 30 minutes.
  6. This is out of the old Kerr Canning book we used in the 40's.

lean meat, suet, tart apples, raisins, grape juice, molasses, orange with juice, lemon, vinegar, mace, pepper, allspice, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon
