Red Beans And Rice

  1. Saute sausage and butter for 5 minutes.
  2. Remove sausage and drain.
  3. Saute vegetables in drippings for 5 minutes or until they begin to wilt.
  4. Add sausage, beans and remaining ingredients. Cover and bring to a boil.
  5. Simmer 20 to 30 minutes.
  6. Cook rice according to package.
  7. Serve red beans over rice.
  8. Feeds 8 people.
