Bob'S New Orleans Barbecued Shrimp
- 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. lemon pepper
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp. garlic puree
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 1/2 tsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1 tsp. olive oil
- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 1 lb. large shrimp
- Combine all ingredients except shrimp in saucepan.
- Bring to a slow simmer.
- Simmer for 15 minutes and cool.
- Remove heads and thoroughly wash shrimp.
- Place in shallow baking pan.
- Pour cooled sauce over shrimp.
- Marinate for a minimum of 4 hours; maximum overnight and through day of dinner.
- Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
- Cook for 10 to 15 minutes on each side (until the shrimp are the proper shade of pink).
