Mexican Casserole
- 1 pkg. tortillas
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 (12 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 (13 1/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 small jar taco sauce
- 1 (6 oz.) can chili peppers, chopped
- 1 lb. sharp or mild Cheddar cheese
- Place a layer of tortillas in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan. Brown meat with salt, pepper and garlic powder; add remaining ingredients except cheese.
- Place layer of meat mixture over tortillas, then layer of tortillas, then meat mixture.
- Add grated cheese.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
