Brenda'S Tuna Casserole
- 2 c. elbow macaroni
- 4 (6 1/8 oz.) cans tuna fish
- 4 (10 1/2 oz.) cans cream of mushroom soup
- 2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms
- 1 (4 oz.) can pimentos
- 1 large green pepper, chopped
- 4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 (12 to 16 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- Saute green pepper in butter or margarine until soft.
- Set aside.
- Boil macaroni 10 minutes or more until done, then pour off water and put back in pot.
- Combine with macaroni:
- green pepper, pimentos, tuna fish, mushrooms and mushroom soup.
- Stir until mixed together.
- Pour in greased 16 1/2 x 11 1/2-inch pan and smooth flat.
- Add grated cheese on top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 minutes or until cheese is melted.
- (Recipe can be reduced in half for smaller dish.)
