- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1 lb. noodles
- 2 c. grated American cheese
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can tomato sauce
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 4 oz. can sliced mushrooms with liquid
- 1/2 c. chopped stuffed olives
- 2 c. chopped green peppers
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 2 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. salt
- In a very large skillet, saute pepper, celery, onion and ground meat in very hot butter
- Add salt.
- Reduce heat.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Stir in mushrooms, soup and sauces.
- Cook 5 minutes. Cook noodles; drain.
- Turn noodles into a 14 x 10 x 2 1/2-inch roasting pan.
- Add sauce mixture and olives;
- gently stir until well mixed.
- Top with grated cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
