Mom'S Meat Lasagna

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large pot.
  2. Drain off fat.
  3. Add sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook for about a minute.
  4. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, red wine and oregano.
  5. Simmer for about two hours.
  6. Boil water and cook lasagna noodles for about 10 minutes.
  7. Drain and let cool.
  8. In a blender, mix ricotta, egg, salt and pepper.
  9. Spread noodles on bottom of dish. Layer with tomato meat sauce, ricotta mixture, mozzarella and parmesan. Repeat.
  10. Cook for 1/2 hour at 350 degrees.
