Oatmeal Scotchies

  1. Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.
  4. Gradually add flour mixture.
  5. Stir in oats and butterscotch morsels.
  6. Drop by level measuring tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  7. Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewier cookies or 9 to 10 minutes for crisper cookies.
  8. Makes about 4 dozen 3-inch cookies.
