Chicken Italiano
- 1 c. flour
- 3 packets Herb-Ox chicken stock
- 1/8 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 pkg. boneless chicken breasts
- 1 small can sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. water
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- Mix 1 cup flour with 1 packet chicken stock; set aside. Season chicken with 1 packet of chicken stock and pepper.
- Dredge chicken in flour and set aside.
- Heat oil, saute mushrooms and onions.
- Remove from frying pan; set aside.
- In jar, combine flour, 1 packet chicken stock and water; shake well.
- Pour liquid in frying pan.
- Return chicken, mushrooms and onions.
- Heat until bubbling.
- Remove from pan and place on warm platter.
- Sprinkle with parsley.
- Serve immediately.
