Barbie'S Beach Dessert

  1. Mix
  2. 2 c. of wafer crumbs and butter in 13x9-inch baking dish.
  3. Press firmly in bottom and refrigerate.
  4. Beat cream cheese and sugar in bowl until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1/2 of cool whip.
  6. Spread over crust.
  7. Stir boiling water into gelatin in bowl for 2 minutes until dissolved.
  8. Mix cold water and ice to make 2 cups.
  9. Stir into gelatin.
  10. Refrigerate 5 minutes until gelatin is slightly thickened.
  11. Spoon over cream cheese layer.
  12. Refrigerate until firm.
  13. Add other 1/2 of cool whip and 1/2 c. crumbs.
