Fried Rice
- rice
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. Pompeian olive oil
- 2 c. diced chicken, beef or pork
- Accent
- 6 green onions, chopped
- 1/2 c. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 1 can water chestnuts
- 1 can bamboo shoots
- 1 c. celery
- broccoli, carrots and snow peas (optional)
- salt and pepper
- soy sauce
- Cook rice and set
- aside.
- In hot wok put olive oil and meat. Shake on
- Accent
- and
- stir-fry
- until done and lightly browned. Add rest
- of
- ingredients
- and season to taste.
- Add rice and soy sauce as
- much
- as desired and toss.
- One may add cornstarch thickening
- if
- desired.
- Vegetables
- should be hot through and crunchy.
- Use Pompeian olive oil.
