Nif'S Edible Aquarium
- 3 (3 ounce) boxes jello berry blue gelatin mix
- 3/4 cup green grape, washed
- 3/4 cup blueberries, washed
- 1/2 - 1 cup gummy fish (you can use a mixture with gummy sharks or frogs)
- Prepare 3 packages of Jell-O gelatin in a large bowl as directed. Refrigerate for 2 hours or until Jell-O is partially set, but still a little "liquidy".
- Clean a NEW 1/2 gallon glass fish bowl, preferably the kind that is flat on the front and back.
- Add grapes and blueberries to bottom of fish bowl, spread evenly.
- Layer gelatin and gummy fish. You can poke gummies down with a spoon or your fingers to look as though they are randomly swimming in the water.
- Refrigerate 1/2 hour until better set.
- Display fish bowl with flashlight propped behind it to better see the display of fish.
- When ready to serve, you can use a washed NEW fish net to scoop the fish and fruit out, along with the Jell-O. Some kids might think this step is "gross", so make sure that your kids are OK with it.
