Squash Dressing

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cook squash in water in covered saucepan until tender.
  3. Drain and mash.
  4. Crumble baked cornbread into milk; set aside.
  5. Saute celery and onion in margarine until tender.
  6. Add pepper, soup, poultry seasoning and squash.
  7. Stir in bread mixture.
  8. Pour ingredients into a 2-quart casserole.
  9. Bake for 1 hour or until set.
  10. May top with cheese.
