Swedish Meatballs

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients; add 1 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Shape into balls about 1 1/2 inches in diameter and roll in flour.
  4. Fry in melted shortening until browned on all sides.
  5. Remove from pan.
  6. Pour bouillon into pan.
  7. Mix 2 tablespoons of flour and water to a smooth paste and add, stirring until thickened.
  8. Season with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.
  9. Add meatballs and simmer 20 minutes. Serve hot over buttered noodles or alone.
