Moist Bread Pudding (Crock Pot)

  1. Grease crock pot.
  2. If you decide to use raisins, plumb them in some water with 1 tsp rum.
  3. Cut bread into 1 inch cubes.
  4. Beat butter and sugar.
  5. Add eggs, flavors and spices.
  6. Add milk and mix well.
  7. Drain raisins and sprinkle over bread cubes into pot.
  8. Pour the milk mix slowly over all the bread, making sure to moisten all pieces.
  9. Cook on high for 2 hours.
  10. Do not lift the lid, while cooking!
  11. Let cool until room temp, as it will set and become "spongy".
  12. Best with thick vanilla sauce or a bourbon sauce.
