Deviled Baked Steak

  1. Trim excess fat from steak.
  2. Cut into serving size pieces. Combine flour, mustard, salt and pepper; pound steak.
  3. In a skillet, brown steak half at a time in oil.
  4. Place meat in a large baking dish; top with onion.
  5. Combine tomatoes, carrots, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce; pour over meat.
  6. Cover and bake at 325u0b0 for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until meat is tender.
  7. Remove meat to a serving platter.
  8. If desired, simmer tomato-onion mixture until it is reduced to a thick gravy.
