Bill Blass' Meat Loaf
- 2 lb. ground sirloin
- 1/2 lb. ground veal
- 1/2 lb. ground pork
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 c. chopped onions
- 1/2 c. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/3 c. sour cream
- 1 1/2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1 egg, beaten with 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- pinch of dried thyme
- pinch of dried marjoram
- 1 bottle Heinz chili sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- In large bowl, mix meat and set aside.
- In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add celery and onions; cook until soft, about 10 minutes.
- Add celery and onion and all other ingredients to meat mixture, except chili sauce.
- Combine well and form into a loaf.
- Place meat loaf into baking dish and top with chili sauce. Bake 1 hour in preheated oven at 350u0b0.
- Serves 6.
