Lasagne
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage
- 2 large onions
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 lb. 3 oz. tomatoes (undrained)
- 6 oz. can tomato paste
- 3 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. Italian herbs
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- lasagne noodles, cooked
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 pkg. spinach, drained
- 16 oz. Ricotta cheese
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- 12 oz. Mozzarella
- Brown meat, remove and drain.
- Saute onions and garlic in 3 tablespoons oil.
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, pepper, Italian herbs, sugar and meat.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Combine eggs, spinach, Ricotta cheese and Parmesan cheese.
- Layers: lasagne noodles, cheese mixture, meat mixture and Mozzarella.
- Top with Mozzarella.
- Bake 30 minutes at 350u0b0.
