Pepper Steak

  1. In a small bowl stir water, soy sauce, soup mix and ginger until blended.
  2. In a large skillet heat 2 tablespoons corn oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add peppers and garlic; stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes or until tender-crisp.
  4. Remove.
  5. Heat remaining corn oil in skillet.
  6. Add beef, half at a time; stir-fry 2 to 3 minutes. Remove as browned.
  7. Return beef and peppers to skillet.
  8. Stir in soup mixture.
  9. Stirring constantly, bring to a boil and boil 1 minute.
  10. Serve over rice.
  11. Serves 4.
