Six Bean Easy Soup
- 1 lb. ground sausage (hot, mild or regular), crumbled, browned and drained
- 1 large onion, chopped and browned with sausage
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 1/2 cans water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 c. ketchup
- 1/4 c. mustard
- 1 (16 oz.) can pork and beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can chili beans with sauce
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can butter beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can cut green beans
- 1 (16 oz.) can wax beans
- Saute the ground sausage and onion in pan.
- In large kettle, add the tomato soup, water, brown sugar, Tabasco sauce, ketchup, mustard, pork and beans and chili beans with sauce.
- Drain the liquid from the kidney beans, butter beans, cut green beans and wax beans.
- Add these beans to the other ingredients plus the ground sausage mixture.
- Mix all together and let simmer for 1 hour or more.
- Best if made ahead.
